Well, they did it! About 20 Sterling College students made a total of 88 fabulous handmade bowls in the studio yesterday. (And it was so fun!) Here's how the Empty Bowls Fundraiser will work: At the end of April, you can buy a ticket to the Empty Bowls Dinner. You will get a meal at Sterling in the handmade clay bowl of your choice, get to hear about and discuss issues of hunger in Vermont, and all of the money raised will be donated to the local Foodbank. Hey... it looks like so much fun there. Wish i could come and help. How did you get that many people in the studio, especially all day? Or are you using the new place already. Anyway... good luck with the firing. You will be busy. :)
